This is a rich type of yoga therapy with different postures from yoga where you will have
the opportunity to notice your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and
sensations. You are invited to choose the postures we work with, the
intensity level, and the duration of the postures throughout the
session. We will work together to create a custom experience that feels supportive and
encouraging for where you are.
TIME COMMITMENT: For full sessions, plan two hours (75-90 minute
sessions). For short sessions (20-45minutes), plan one hour. You might
block off extra time for post-session journaling or drawing at a
nearby café, park, or library. If so, bring your journal,
pen and/or colored pencils.
CLOTHING: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that feels easy for you to
move and stretch in. Sweatpants or leggings and a t-shirt with a
light sweater work well for this.
FOOD: It's best to come on an empty stomach, but if you need to eat
something, try a light snack such as fruit or yogurt.
